Performance

The front-wheel drive 2019 Acura TLX base model is powered by the industry’s first eight-speed dual-clutch transmission with a torque converter mated to a 206-hp 2.4-liter inline four-cylinder engine with Precision All-Wheel Steer™ for improved handling and control. This powertrain generates 206-hp and 182 lb.-ft. of torque.

Choose the 3.5-liter V-6 engine paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters and Precision All-Wheel Steer™ for a quick-to-respond drive. This powertrain has the option to be paired with an advanced torque-vectoring Super Handling All-Wheel Drive™ for the ultimate sport handling experience which pumps out 290-hp and 267 lb.-ft. of torque.

Comfort and Technology

The 2019 Acura TLX comes standard with comfort features including a leatherette-trimmed interior, leather-wrapped steering wheel, three-level heated front seats, 10-way power driver’s seat, dual-zone climate control, and ambient interior lighting. The On Demand multi-use display lets you control vehicle information, audio, climate control, and your phone through the 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay™, Android Auto™, Aha™, and Pandora® compatibility played through the seven-speaker premium audio system.

Packages

The Technology Package adds to your music experience with HD Radio™ and Song by Voice®, to help you select and play music from your smartphone. You can listen to your favorite songs through the ELS Studio® premium audio system with 10-speaker surround sound. Maps and directions will be displayed with the intuitive navigation system with 3D view and voice recognition, while AcuraLink Real-Time Traffic™ with advanced Traffic Rerouting™ helps you avoid the highly congested traffic areas.

The Advance Package enhances comfort and safety with a heated steering wheel, three levels of front seat ventilation, three heated temperature settings for the rear seats, and a surround view camera system using six unique camera views.

A sportier style is presented inside and out with the A-Spec package which adds a choice of black Alcantara® or red leather seating, sport gauges with exclusive red lighting, a dark chrome diamond pentagon grille, gloss black rear spoiler, charcoal 19-inch rims, exposed rounded dual exhaust outlets, and the A-Spec badge on the front fenders and rear decklid.
