Our tire experts at Friendly Acura will help you select the ideal tires for your vehicles based on the way you drive them and the roads you drive on. But first, you have to know if you even need tires!

Do I Need New Tires?
The easiest way to tell if you tires’ treads are worn down is the Penny Test. Take a penny and insert it between your tire’s treads with Abraham Lincoln’s head upside down (the top of his head should be toward the tire). If you can see the top of Lincoln’s head, it’s time for new tires.
The Penny Test works because National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) guidelines say that tires should be replaced when the tread reaches 2/32 of an inch, and a penny is an easy and memorable way to check. Keep in mind, of course, that tread wear is only one element of overall tire condition.
Uneven tread wear can also be a tell-tale sign that it’s time to get new tires. If that’s the case, you should also ask your Friendly Acura Service Advisor about fixing your car’s alignment and suspension, as these are common causes. Also, if there is visible damage to your tires — like punctures, bulges, and cracking — your tires will likely need to be replace.
Do You Price-Match Your Tires?
Absolutely! Because we have access to a complete collection of different options from the top tire manufacturers, you can rest assured that Friendly Acura will match or beat any advertised tire price.
You have enough to worry about, so just show us any competitor’s published ad, and we’ll make sure you get a better deal. It’s that easy.
Don’t worry. We’ve got you covered. Nails, glass, and potholes are common road hazards that can cause a tire to fail. It happens to the best of us.
The problem is they’re not typically covered under tire warranties. Luckily, Friendly Acura is anything but a “typical” dealership.
When you purchase tires from Friendly Acura, we include 24-month Tire Road Hazard Protection for FREE. With this protection, your tire repair or replacement is reimbursed (to the extent and subject to the conditions provided in the Protection Certificate). Free Roadside Assistance also includes battery jumping, tire changing, towing to nearest dealership, fuel service, lockout assistance, and more! All at no extra cost to you.
