Styling and Interior
From the outside in, the all-new RDX has been restyled for a modern yet timeless look. The two-row, five-seat Acura SUV features a newly designed Diamond Pentagon Grille and a body to match, with sweeping lines, bezel details, and a rear-sloping roofline that adds to its sleekness. Drivers who opt for A-Spec model will also love the RDX’s unique sport appearance upgrades, which include gloss black accents and 20-inch Shark Gray alloy wheels.
The all-new RDX adds 2.5 inches to its wheelbase and leads the midsize luxury SUV segment in cabin space, cargo space, and rear legroom, so taller drivers and families with teens will love its updated cabin. Up front, it features luxe, supportive seating and 16-way power adjustment, with available heating and cooling. The 2019 RDX also features a standard panoramic power moonroof and a floating center console for your comfort and convenience.
The RDX can take on any terrain ahead, with a newly engineered 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine that produces 272 horsepower. Plus, the engine is connected to a 10-speed automatic transmission with an Electronic Gear Selector and steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters, a class-exclusive that means refined shifting and a dynamic driving experience.
The 2019 RDX also features an all-new chassis for models equipped with Super Handling All-Wheel Drive. The redesigned chassis has a new suspension and Active Damper System, so whether you’re traversing rock and boulder or city streets, you and your passengers will ride in comfort. Additionally, all models of the new RDX feature the Integrated Dynamics System with Comfort, Sport, Sport+, and Snow modes, modeled after the system on the Acura NSX.
Features and Technology
The Acura RDX comes equipped with a 10.2-inch touchscreen display above the center console for distraction-free control of audio, navigation, and other systems. The Acura True Touchpad Interface, located in the center console, gives both driver and passenger easy access to controls via a touchpad.
All models of the 2019 RDX will come equipped with the AcuraWatch suite of driver assistance technology, which includes Collision Mitigation Braking, Lane Keeping Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and the option for a Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert.
