Review: 2019 Acura MDX
The 2019 Acura MDX was already a great vehicle, but Acura stepped it up in a significant way for 2019. The MDX is a well-suited family vehicle, but Acura added a sportier touch for 2019 with the A-Spec trim level. The MDX is surprisingly fuel efficient for a full-size crossover which is sure to make you happy every time you visit the pump. The standard offering for the 2019 MDX is full of technology and safety features; you can’t go wrong with this vehicle.
2019 Acura MDX models have a 3.5-liter V6 under the hood matched to a 9-speed automatic transmission. This duo produces 290 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque. The Acura crossover is ranked to tow up to 3,500 pounds making it the perfect vehicle to tow your toys.
There is another engine option for the 2019 MDX, the Sport Hybrid. This engine option uses a 3.5-liter V6 paired to a 7-speed automatic transmission. This combination powers the Sport Hybrid with 321 horsepower.
